Coach Kyria was born and raised in Plymouth, Massachusetts.  She played youth soccer and became involved in Martial Arts at the age of 11.  She quickly began training and competing at an Olympic level in Taekwondo and earned several state, national and international titles.  She left Plymouth at the age of 18 to pursue her dreams of competing in the Olympics.  She found herself training with top, elite professionals at training facilities such as, the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Coach Kyria became a Taekwondo instructor and taught (ages 3 to 70 years old) for many years before opening her own Taekwondo school in Norwell, MA (later Hanover, MA).  She is currently a Corrections Officer for the Plymouth County Sheriff's Department and is a mother of three, of which, two of her children are actively involved in soccer.  Coach Kyria finds it rewarding to be able to build confidence in her players through the game of soccer and offers positivity through her coaching style.
